Family Silver of Livingston and Kidder of CT and MA 1700s and 1800s Anna Giles Livingston Coin

Heirloom silver collection having belonged to Ann Giles Livingston (1819-1895) of Newburyport, Massachusetts who married William Kidder of Belerica, MA. They had three children: Adelaide Hathaway Kidder, Charles Livingston Kidder, and Francis Alexander Kidder.

The five pieces presented here were all purchased together including:

1824-1830 Sauce ladle by Abel Moulton of Newburyport, MA. 19.3 grams and 5.75" long. Excellent condition. Engraved, "Ann G. Livingston". Excellent condition.

1824-1830 Large serving spoon by Abel Moulton of Newburyport, MA. 48.6 grams and 8.5" long. Wear to the front of the bowl. Engraved nicely, "AL".

1850 Palmer & Bachelders of Boston, MA coin silver spoon here. This piece is 5 1/8" long and weighs 6.75 grams. Lightly monogrammed with an embellished cursive "AL". Condition is good with a very minor kink in the bowl (indicated in picture 5). Distinctly stamped "Palmer & Bachelders" on obverse. Fits the fingers nicely. Nice piece of Massachusetts silver. You could also use this as a salt spoon or a condiment spoon. Excellent condition.

1820 large 8 1/8" serving spoon by Norwich, CT silversmiths Judah Hart (1777-1824) and Alvan Wilcox (1783-1870). Form is a typical early 1800's fiddle back spoon. Lightly monogrammed "AL" on the front. Slight wear to the bowl. No dents. No dings. Weight is: 54.1 grams. Hallmarked H & W. A fine piece of heirloom silver.

1770 coin silver teaspoon with unidentified colonial pseudomarks. Piece is hallmarked with an eagle, a 'G', and a mark that has been rubbed off. All are in separate cartouches. Spoon is engraved 'AL' 6.25" long and 14.8 grams. Excellent condition
