A ca 1895 9ct (.375) gold English Albert pocket watch chain made by Charles Daniel Broughton, a Gold and silver chain maker who was registered in St. Paul's Square, Birmingham.
Chain links are oval (tapering at the ends). The links graduate with the largest diameter rings in the center of the chain and the smallest closer to the watch fittings and the fob drop. Swivel is stamped '9ct', 375, and for Birmingham and has a maker mark CDB. Chain is marked on every single link twice per link. The overall length of this item is about 14.5" and the weight is about 51 grams. Swivel finding is typical spring loaded and seems quite secure. T bar is 9ct gold and swivels. Jump rings at the watch, fob, and accessory chains.
