Drop dead gorgeous. Offered are three matched American coin silver serving spoons that likely date 1790-1820. Old English pattern that is plain in style with a rounded terminal and a single downturned terminal. The lines on these are incredibly graceful and they have the warm glow of time. It should also be noted that the gauge of silver used between the bowl and stem is incredibly heavy, an unusual safeguard against the most common place a spoon breaks. Dimensions: about 9" in length and weight of about 147 grams. Monogrammed 'AW' in a hand laid cursive.
Condition is good with minor signs of wear mostly surface patina with a couple of minor dints. Unmarked for maker, but probably Kentucky as they were traveling with a group of Kentucky silver.
