For sale here is a hand crafted belt buckle in solid heavy gauge 14K yellow and rose gold and sterling silver. The buckle features the four winds, one on each corner. Each of these winds is made in solid 14K yellow gold and has a ruby in its mouth. In the center of the buckle is a prominent fleur de lis also in solid gold, both yellow and rose. These elements sit atop a hand chased solid sterling silver buckle with elaborate detailing. This belt was made long ago by J. W. Cooper and has acquired a perfect patina from the years. As the esteemed owner of J.W. Cooper Todd Rauchwerger was quoted as saying, "To me the most important part of my business is making something that is going to touch somebody and be passed down from generation to generation,” he says. “And when you use solid silver and gold, the patina just gets better with age.”
There are two of these buckles in existence. Fit for a king. This buckle weighs 147.0 grams. Dimensions 3" x 3.75". This is among the finest buckles offered for sale anywhere.
Add a custom strap to this buckle in walnut, chestnut, or black. It takes 1-2 weeks and I can provide an estimate (usually about $50) based on the particular strap needed. Convo for details.
